A. A person who intentionally alters, forges or counterfeits a driver license or nonoperating identification license issued by this state, any other state, Canada or Mexico is guilty of falsification of a license. B. A person counterfeits a driver license or nonoperating identification license if a person produces, prints, issues or sells a card or document that meets all of the following conditions: 1. Is not a driver license or nonoperating identification license that is issued by this state, any other state, Canada or Mexico. 2. Is similar to or in the likeness of a driver license or nonoperating identification license that is issued by this state, any other state, Canada or Mexico. 3. Does not have printed on the front in at least twelve point bold type "Not an official license". C. Falsification of a license is a class 1 misdemeanor, except that falsification of a license in which serious physical injury as defined in section 13-105 occurred as a result of the act from which the violation occurred is a class 6 felony.
