For law firms
Hold your position in the reference
US Criminal Defense is a verified, always-current criminal-law reference built to be what search engines rank and AI tools cite for local criminal-law questions. Firms hold a position inside it: a claimed, verified presence — and, for one firm per county and practice area, the exclusive Authority position.
How placement works
Listed
Every criminal defense firm appears free, with name, city, and county. Facts only, no contact details, shown as an unclaimed profile.
A claimed, verified profile: contact information, a followed link to the firm's site, attorney roster, and the verified-member mark. Listed above the free entries, ordered by disclosed review rating.
The exclusive Authority position — one firm per county and practice area. The verification medallion, a featured placement, and attributed content built from the firm's own material, each piece linking back to the firm's own assets.
Why the position holds its value
The reference earns citations because it is neutral, sourced, and current. Paid firms never appear on the statute, charge, or concept pages — that separation is what keeps the reference credible, and credibility is what makes a position next to it worth holding. Each Authority position is exclusive and finite: one firm per county and practice area, and the position appreciates as the reference is cited more widely.
USCD membership is a paid designation and attorney advertising. It is not a government or state-bar certification, and a directory listing is not an endorsement. Placement is disclosed on every listing.
Claim your profile or ask about a position
