What does “Cheat” mean in California criminal law?
“Cheat” means to alter the normal elements of chance, method of selection, or criteria, excluding those alterations to the game generally done by the casino to provide variety to games and that are known, or should be known, by the wagering players, which determine any of the following: (1) The result of a gambling game. (Cal. Penal Code § 337t)
