What does “immediately” mean in California criminal law?
“immediately” means on or before the end of the fifth ordinary business day following the arrest, except that with respect to Section 13388 only, “immediately” has the same meaning as that term is defined in paragraph (3) of subdivision (b) of Section 13388. (Cal. Vehicle Code § 13380)
