What does “total bail” mean in California criminal law?
“total bail” means the amount established pursuant to Section 1269b of the Penal Code in accordance with the Uniform Bail and Penalty Schedule adopted by the Judicial Council, including all assessments, surcharges, and penalty amounts. (Cal. Vehicle Code § 42007)
