What does “Digital signature” mean in Colorado criminal law?

"Digital signature" means a document hash-encrypted with a private cryptographic key that can be used to authenticate the identity of the sender of a message or the signer of a document and can ensure that the original content of the message or document that has been sent is unchanged. (C.R.S. § 16-1-106)
