What does “Specified semiautomatic firearm” mean in Colorado criminal law?

"Specified semiautomatic firearm" means any of the following, except as provided in subsection (1)(d)(II) of this section: (A) A semiautomatic rifle or semiautomatic shotgun with a detachable magazine; or (B) A gas-operated semiautomatic handgun with a detachable magazine. (C.R.S. § 18-12-116)
