(1) A person commits the offense of unlawful termination of pregnancy in the third degree if, under circumstances manifesting extreme indifference to the value of human life, the person knowingly engages in conduct that creates a grave risk of death to another person, and thereby causes the unlawful termination of the pregnancy of a woman. (2) Unlawful termination of pregnancy in the third degree is a class 5 felony.
