As used in this article 8, unless the context otherwise requires: (1) "Government" has the same meaning as described in section 18-1-901 (3)(i). (2) "Governmental function" has the same meaning as described in section 18-1-901 (3)(j). (2.5) "Peace officer" has the same meaning as described in section 16-2.5-101, C.R.S. (2.7) "Public safety emergency call center" means any public entity that provides emergency response services to the public, including, but not limited to, 911 dispatch centers. (2.8) "Public safety entity" means a law enforcement agency, fire department, fire district, emergency medical services provider, or any other public organization responsible for public safety. (3) "Public servant" has the same meaning as described in section 18-1-901 (3)(o). (4) "Shelter-in-place order" means an official order or direction from government officials to the occupants of a building to seek shelter from an external threat in the building or a safe structure.
