What does “Claimant” mean in Florida criminal law?
“Claimant” means any party who has proprietary interest in property subject to forfeiture and has standing to challenge such forfeiture, including owners, registered owners, bona fide lienholders, and titleholders. (Fla. Stat. § 932.701)
