What does “Covered participant” mean in Florida criminal law?

“Covered participant” means an umpire, officiating crew member, player, coach, manager, groundskeeper, or any artistic, theatrical, or other performer or sanctioned participant in a covered event. (Fla. Stat. § 871.05)
