What does “Habitual offender flag” mean in Florida criminal law?
“Habitual offender flag” means an indication that a defendant is a habitual felony offender as defined in s. 775.084 or a habitual misdemeanor offender as defined in s. 775.0837.(x) “Habitual violent felony offender flag” means an indication that a defendant is a habitual violent felony offender as defined in s. 775.084.(y) “Number of contract attorneys representing indigent defendants for the office of the public defender” means the number of attorneys hired on a temporary basis, by contract, to represent indigent clients who were appointed a public defender, whereby the public defender withd (Fla.
