What does “code grabbing device” mean in Indiana criminal law?
"code grabbing device" means a device that is capable of: (1) receiving and recording the code signal sent by the transmitter of: (A) a motor vehicle security alarm system; (B) a motor vehicle automatic door locking system; or (C) a residential or commercial automatic garage door opening system; and (2) disarming: (A) a motor vehicle security alarm system; (B) a motor vehicle automatic door locking system; or (C) a residential or commercial automatic garage door opening system.
