What does “firefighter” mean in Indiana criminal law?

"firefighter" means an individual who is: (1) a full-time, salaried firefighter; or (2) a volunteer firefighter (as defined in IC 36-8-12-2 ). (Ind. Code § 35-44.1-4-3)
