Ind. Code § 11-8-8-2Primary source, current through the 2026 Regular Session

Sec. 2. As used in this chapter, "local law enforcement authority" means the: (1) chief of police of a consolidated city; or (2) sheriff of a county that does not contain a consolidated city.
