Sec. 5. The juvenile court: (1) shall inform the child and the child's parent, guardian, or custodian of the child's right to counsel and to refrain from testifying against himself or herself; and (2) may appoint counsel under IC 31-32-4 . [Pre-1997 Recodification Citation: 31-6-4-5(f) part.]
