Sec. 10.6. (a) The Indiana department of health shall notify victims of an offense relating to a criminal sexual act or an offense relating to controlled substances if tests conducted under section 10.5 of this chapter or IC 16-41-8-5 confirm that the person tested had antibodies for the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). (b) The Indiana department of health shall provide counseling to persons notified under this section.
