Sec. 1. The following definitions apply to this chapter: (1) "Dependent" means: (A) an unemancipated person who is under eighteen (18) years of age; or (B) a person of any age who has a mental or physical disability. (2) "Endangered adult" has the meaning set forth in IC 12-10-3-2 . (3) "Independent activity" includes any of the following when done by a child without the supervision of a parent, guardian, or custodian: (A) Traveling on foot, by bicycle, or by public transportation. (B) Playing outdoors. (C) Remaining at home. (D) Remaining in a stationary vehicle. (4) "Support" means food, clothing, shelter, or medical care. (5) "Tobacco and vaping business" means a sole proprietorship, partnership, or other enterprise in which: (A) the primary activity is the sale of: (i) e-liquids; (ii) e-liquid accessories; (iii) electronic cigarettes; (iv) tobacco; (v) tobacco products; (vi) tobacco accessories; or (vii) any combination of the products listed in items (i) through (vi); and (B) the sale of other products is incidental. (6) "Tobacco business" means a sole proprietorship, corporation, partnership, or other enterprise in which: (A) the primary activity is the sale of tobacco, tobacco products, and tobacco accessories; and (B) the sale of other products is incidental.
