Iowa Code § 714B.8Primary source, current through the 2026 Iowa Code (enactments effective on or before 2026-01-01, through the 2025 Regular Session, 91st G.A.)

In addition to any other remedies, a person suffering pecuniary loss as a result of a violation of this chapter by another person may bring an action against such other person to recover all of the following: 1. The greater of five hundred dollars or twice the amount of the pecuniary loss. 2. Costs and reasonable attorney fees.
