1. A district advisory board is established for each district department, which shall serve in an advisory capacity to a district director without compensation, and shall be composed as follows: a. One member shall be appointed annually by a district director from the board of supervisors of each county in the judicial district. b. The district director shall on or before December 31 appoint two citizen members to serve on the district advisory board for the following calendar year. 2. The district advisory board shall meet as necessary. 3. The members of the district advisory board shall be reimbursed from funds of the district department for travel and other expenses necessarily incurred in attending meetings.
