What does “Adverse result” mean in Maine criminal law?
"Adverse result" means: (1) Immediate danger of death or serious physical injury to any person; (2) Flight from prosecution; (3) Destruction of or tampering with evidence; (4) Intimidation of a potential witness; (5) Seriously jeopardizing an investigation; or (6) Undue delay of a trial. (15 M.R.S. § 56)
