What does “Another jurisdiction” mean in Maine criminal law?
"Another jurisdiction" means the Federal Government, the United States military, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, the United States Virgin Islands, Guam, American Samoa, federally recognized Indian tribes and each of the several states except Maine. 3-C. (17-A M.R.S. § 2)
