What does “Protected person” mean in Maine criminal law?
"Protected person" means a person who in good faith calls for assistance for another person experiencing a suspected drug-related overdose, any person rendering aid at the location of the suspected drug-related overdose and any person who is experiencing a suspected drug-related overdose. (17-A M.R.S. § 1111-B)
