What does “Replacement services loss” mean in Maine criminal law?
"Replacement services loss" means expenses reasonably incurred in obtaining ordinary and necessary services in lieu of those the injured person would have performed, not for income but for the benefit of the injured person or the injured person's family, if the injured person had not been injured. (17-A M.R.S. § 2002)
