17-A M.R.S. § 209Primary source, current through the First Special Session of the 132nd Maine Legislature (current through October 1, 2025)

1. A person is guilty of criminal threatening if he intentionally or knowingly places another person in fear of imminent bodily injury. 2. Criminal threatening is a Class D crime.
