What does “Electronic signature” mean in New York criminal law?
"Electronic signature" means an electronic sound, symbol, or process, attached to or logically associated with an electronic record and executed or adopted by a person with the intent to sign the record, in accordance with regulations of the commissioner and the commissioner of education. 39. (N.Y. Public Health Law § 3302)
