440.55 Notice to education department where a licensed professional has been convicted of a felony. The district attorney shall give written notification to the department of education upon the conviction of a felony of any person holding a license pursuant to title eight of the education law. In addition, the district attorney shall give written notification to the department upon the vacatur or reversal of any felony conviction of any such person.
