What does “Immediate family” mean in South Dakota criminal law?
(19) "Immediate family," any spouse, child, parent, or guardian of the victim; (20) "Insanity," the condition of a person temporarily or partially deprived of reason, upon proof that at the time of committing the act, the person was incapable of knowing its wrongfulness, but not including an abnormality manifested only by repeated unlawful or antisocial behavior; (21) "Intoxication," a disturbance of mental or physical capacities resulting from the introduction of substances into the body.
