Forgery may be prosecuted in: (1) any county in which the writing was: (A) forged; (B) used or passed or attempted to be used or passed; or (C) deposited or placed with another person, firm, association, or corporation for collection or credit for the account of any person, firm, association, or corporation; or (2) if the forging and the uttering, using, or passing of a forged instrument in writing concerns or affects the title to real property in this state, a county in which any part of the property is located.
