Nothing in this subchapter precludes: (1) a case involving a child from being referred, adjudicated, or disposed of as conduct indicating a need for supervision under Title 3, Family Code; or (2) a waiver of criminal jurisdiction and transfer of a child's case as provided by Section 51.08 , Family Code.
