In this subchapter: (1) "Crime laboratory" has the meaning assigned by Article 38.35 . (2) "Department" means the Department of Public Safety of the State of Texas. (3) Repealed by Acts 2021, 87th Leg., R.S., Ch. 915 (H.B. 3607 ), Sec. 4.011, eff. September 1, 2021.
