(a) A claimant, victim, or third party, or an agent, insurer, or attorney of a third party, commits an offense if the person knowingly fails to comply with the requirements of this chapter, Chapter 56A , or Subchapter B , Chapter 58 . (b) An offense under Subsection (a) is a Class B misdemeanor, except that any fine imposed may not exceed $500.
