(a) On the request of any law enforcement agency, a city or state agency shall furnish the law enforcement agency with any information about a missing child or missing person that will assist in completing the investigation. (b) The information given under Subsection (a) of this article is confidential and may not be released to any other person outside of the law enforcement agency.
