What does “Authorizing medical professional” mean in Utah criminal law?
"Authorizing medical professional" means a practitioner: (1)(a)(i) who is licensed under Section 58-37-105; (1)(a)(ii) who is acting within the scope of the license described in Section 58-37-105; and (1)(a)(iii) whose scope of practice under the license described in Section 58-37-105, as described in this title and rules the division makes, includes the ability to provide verbal orders.
