What does “Chemical substance” mean in Utah criminal law?
"Chemical substance" means: (1)(a)(i)(A)(I) a substance intended to be used as a precursor in the manufacture of a controlled substance; (1)(a)(i)(A)(II) a substance intended to be used in the manufacture of a controlled substance; or (1)(a)(i)(A)(III) any fumes or by-product resulting from the manufacture of a controlled substance. (Utah Code Ann. § 76-5-112.5)
