What does “Criminal risk factors” mean in Utah criminal law?
"Criminal risk factors" means an individual's characteristics and behaviors that: (6)(a) affect that individual's risk of engaging in criminal behavior; and (6)(b) are diminished when addressed by effective treatment, supervision, and other support resources resulting in reduced risk of criminal behavior. (Utah Code Ann. § 77-27-1)
