What does “Juvenile” mean in Utah criminal law?
"Juvenile" means any person defined as a juvenile in any member state or by the rules of the Interstate Commission, including: (1)(h)(i) "accused delinquent" meaning a person charged with an offense that, if committed by an adult, would be a criminal offense; (1)(h)(ii) "accused status offender" meaning a person charged with an offense that would not be a criminal offense if committed by an adult; (1)(h)(iii) "adjudicated delinquent" meaning a person found to have committed an offense that, if committed by an adult, would be a criminal offense; (1)(h)(iv) "adjudicated status offender" meaning (Utah Code Ann. § 80-6-1103)
