What does “Officer-involved critical incident” mean in Utah criminal law?
"Officer-involved critical incident" means any of the following: (1)(f)(i) an officer's use of deadly force; (1)(f)(ii) an officer's use of a dangerous weapon against an individual who causes injury to any individual; (1)(f)(iii) death or serious bodily injury to any individual, other than the officer, resulting from an officer's: (1)(f)(iii)(A) use of a motor vehicle while the officer is on duty; or (1)(f)(iii)(B) use of a government vehicle while the officer is off duty; (1)(f)(iv) the death of an individual who is in custody, but excluding a death that is the result of disease, natural caus (Utah Code Ann. § 76-2-408)
