What does “Pattern of criminal gang activity” mean in Utah criminal law?
"Pattern of criminal gang activity" means: (5)(a) committing, attempting to commit, conspiring to commit, or soliciting the commission of two or more criminal offenses within five years; (5)(b) the criminal offenses are: (5)(b)(i) committed by two or more individuals; or (5)(b)(ii) committed by an individual at the direction of, or in association with, a criminal street gang; and (5)(c) the criminal offenses were committed with the specific intent to promote, further, or assist in any criminal conduct by members of the criminal street gang.
