(1) Terms defined in Sections 76-1-101.5, 76-11-101, and 76-11-201 apply to this section. (2) An actor commits selling a firearm to a minor if: (2)(a) the actor sells a firearm to a minor; and (2)(b) at the time the actor sells the weapon to a minor, the minor is not accompanied by a parent of the minor or a legal guardian of the minor. (3) A violation of Subsection (2) is a third degree felony.
