As used in this part: (1) "Kickback or bribe" means a rebate, compensation, or any other form of remuneration, that is: (1)(a) direct or indirect; (1)(b) overt or covert; or (1)(c) in cash or in kind. (2) "Kickback or bribe" does not include: (2)(a) a fee that is: (2)(a)(i) shared between two or more individuals, each of whom is licensed to practice law; and (2)(a)(ii) charged for services provided in the individual's capacity as a licensee described in Subsection (2)(a)(i); or (2)(b) payment for medical services rendered.
