(1) If any provision, part, section, or subsection of this chapter or the application of any provision, part, section, or subsection to any person or circumstance is held invalid by a final decision of a court, the remainder of this chapter shall be given effect without the invalid provision, part, section, or subsection or application. (2) The provisions of this chapter are severable.
