(1) Terms defined in Sections 76-1-101.5 and 76-9-1201 apply to this section. (2) An actor commits unlawful interference with water flow if the actor intentionally or knowingly interferes with or alters the flow of water in any stream, ditch, or lateral while under the control or management of any water commissioner. (3) A violation of Subsection (2) is subject to the penalty provisions in Section 73-2-27.
