(1) There are five kinds of pleas to an indictment or information: (1)(a) not guilty; (1)(b) guilty; (1)(c) no contest; (1)(d) not guilty by reason of insanity; and (1)(e) guilty with a mental condition at the time of the offense. (2) An alternative plea of not guilty or not guilty by reason of insanity may be entered.
