(1) After hearing the court's instructions and arguments of counsel, the jury shall retire for deliberation. (2) An officer shall: (2)(a) be sworn to keep the jury together in some private and convenient place; (2)(b) not permit any person to speak to or communicate with the jury; (2)(c) not communicate with the jury except: (2)(c)(i) upon the order of the court; or (2)(c)(ii) to ask the jury whether the jury has agreed on a verdict; and (2)(d) return the jury to court when the jury has agreed and the court has so ordered, or when otherwise ordered by the court.
