What does “Wildlife sanctuary” mean in Iowa criminal law?

“Wildlife sanctuary” means an organization exempt from taxation pursuant to section 501(c) of the Internal Revenue Code that operates a place of refuge where abused, neglected, unwanted, impounded, abandoned, orphaned, or displaced wildlife are provided care for their lifetime, if all of the following apply: a. (Iowa Code § 717F.1)
